Food Safety Management in the Global Supply Chain

Addmaster (UK) Ltd. is proud to support a one day conference from the RSPH "Food Safety Management in the Global Supply Chain" to be held on 9th July 2014 at 28 Portland Place, London W1B 1LY.

The conference provides an excellent opportunity for those working in the food industry to keep up to date on key issues affecting food safety management in the global supply chain. It is particularly relevant to people working in manufacturing, retail, catering, food training, environmental health, HACCP and enforcement.

Although our food supply has probably never been safer, food safety continues to be a key public health challenge in the 21st century. Consumer perception of food safety is variable and data tells us that there are still weaknesses in the way that food safety is managed, even in large food businesses.

Speakers include Professor Hugh Pennington CBE; Phil Farrington, Harrods;  John Barnes, the Food Standards Agency and John Figgins, British Retail Consortium. The conference will focus on:

The current concerns and status of food safety hazards and control measures

Sharing of best practice techniques and approaches for strengthening food safety management systems

Developing food safety culture.
