Biomaster is a silver-based antimicrobial additive that has been independently tested to reduce levels of harmful bacteria by more than 99%. Added as an optional extra after manufacture, Hyginox customers can now choose from the extensive range of counters with a post-production treatment of Biomaster lacquer spray. The lacquer is fast air curing, eliminating the need for additional treatment to set the coating. This is the only clear lacquer spray on the market that contains silver – offering protection against bacteria, while not affecting the look of the cabinet in any way.
Biomaster Protection has been proven to reduce the growth of harmful bacteria on any treated surface – protecting against MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Campylobacter and Salmonella. In a commercial kitchen, this clearly has benefits for both those receiving food from the kitchen, as well as the staff working in the environment.
The bespoke modular counters are built to the highest standards from food grade stainless steel, mounted on casters, legs or plinths and designed to incorporate services or switchgear. Regardless of the required functions, Hyginox counters never compromise on aesthetics.

Hyginox UK works with customers to map out exact detailing through a 3D design process, which is then built to specification by craftsmen. The build process is fully coordinated with the fabric and finishes of the space, incorporating any decoration and joinery that has been chosen to compliment the interior design.
