MediFilm, supplier of visual management graphics to over 90 NHS trusts nationwide incorporates Biomaster silver based Technology to combat bacterial growth in hospital environments.
Established in 2008 by Managing Director Ed Taylor, the MediFilm products help to create an organised and safer working environment. MediFilm currently have a catalogue of over 200 designs and growing, custom mats are also available to any specification.
The MediFilm graphics are applied to floors or walls and provide guidance for the placement of equipment and other relevant information.
The MediFilm graphics incorporating Biomaster are widely used across all healthcare environments and have been featured in the BBC programmes Holby City and Casualty.
MediFilm graphics are extremely durable and robust, withstanding all normal cleaning procedures implemented by hospitals. MediFilm also comes with an added bonus, Biomaster.
Biomaster technology is a silver based additive incorporated in the MediFilm surface which actively inhibits the growth of bacteria, thus minimising the risk of cross contamination, and acting as an effective aid in the battle against healthcare associated infections. Biomaster has been proven to reduce the growth of bacteria by up to 99% in as little as 2 hours on treated surfaces.
According to Paul Morris “Medifilm is like all great ideas a very simple concept done very well. Eddie has created an excellent product offering the dual function on mobile signage with inbuilt antimicrobial technology to stop the spread of bacteria such as MRSA”.
