Ultimate Linings chooses Biomaster for specialist antimicrobial coatings

Ultimate Linings has been contracted to coat the inside of chemical response ambulances with their specialist X55 coating incorporating Biomaster.

The X55 coatings is a two component modified polyurethane protective coating that can be spray applied for an extremely easy application. X55 leaves a seamless finish, is quick drying and also features a high level of chemical and impact resistance.

The Biomaster antimicrobial additive in the X55 coating provides durable and long lasting protection to prevent the growth of bacteria in the ambulance. The coating has been independently tested against such bacteria as MRSA and E.Coli and removed over 99% in a 24hr period.

Ultimate Linings has also recently added Biomaster to other coatings in its range for application in wet-rooms for one of the UK’s largest group of care homes.
