Vero Technologies, a manufacturer of a wide range of plastic and metal enclosures is now offering its customers their products with built-in Biomaster antimicrobial protection.
Bacterial cross infection in critical environments such as hospitals and healthcare settings have become a serious problem in recent years. Improved cleaning routines and staff training have gone a long way to reduce the amount of the bacteria found in these environments however more steps can be taken to reduce potential harmful bacterial growth on surfaces in these key areas.
To help address the issue, Vero Technologies is now able to offer its range of plastic and metal enclosures and panels with embedded Biomaster Protection, silver based antimicrobial additive, which provides an effective means at reducing the growth of bacteria by up 99.99% for the active life of the product.
Biomaster has been tested on over 50 different species of bacteria, including the commonly encountered MRSA, E.Coli, Listeria, Salmonella and Campylobacter species. Independent testing to ISO 22196:2011 has confirmed the effectiveness of Biomaster Technology.
Vero Technologies manufactures a wide range of plastic enclosures suitable for hand-held, portable instruments and desktop applications, including such well-known brands as Veronex, IDAS, Apollo, General Purpose Box, Patina and many others. All sizes and colours of the family can be supplied with added Biomaster Protection.
