Vectair launch Biomaster Protected Femcare universal liners

Award-winning hygiene manufacturer, Vectair Systems Ltd has launched a unique, heavy-duty, antimicrobial liner made from white polyethylene that fits all sanitary units up to 23 litres.

The new Femcare® antimicrobial liners are the result of an exclusive partnership with Addmaster (UK) Ltd, Europe’s leading supplier of innovative additives, and benefit from Biomaster Antimicrobial Technology, a silver based additive incorporated into the bag during manufacture. This actively reduces the growth of bacteria both inside and outside a normal bin liner by up to 99.99% for its life, reducing the risk of cross infection.

Nasty smells are eradicated with the malodour eliminating technology also developed and supplied by Addmaster, which has the ability to deodorise smells that may exist within the liner during its use.  This new liner technology not only ensures the smell of the contents do not emanate out of the sack when in use but also provides a pleasant fragrance by use of an additional scent additive.

“This is a very exciting addition to our product range,” says Paul Wonnacott, Vectair Founder and Managing Director.  “Silver has been used as an antimicrobial for centuries. It has low toxicity and works round-the-clock to reduce the growth of microbes and prevent them from reaching dangerous levels. Biomaster actively protects against bacterial build up from harmful species such as MRSA, E. Coli and Legionella for the life of the liner and also stops the growth of bacteria that causes unpleasant odours, helping to keep washrooms fresh and clean.”

“The Femcare® antimicrobial liners can be used in our popular Femcare sanitary disposal system but also fits all other units with a capacity of up to 23 litres, which means customer can benefit from their unique properties without having to buy new equipment. And, because the sanitizing agent is already added, using a Femcare® liner can save them time and money. ”

Paul Morris, Managing Director of Addmaster comments “We are delighted to be working with Vectair, a company which shares our commitment to research and development. Our collaboration has created an innovative new product for the washroom market and we look forward to working together on future products.”
