More than 12 million counterfeit cigarettes have been seized at Dublin Port.
Last night, customs officials searched a 20-foot container and van coming from China which had its contents described as alloy wheels.
A man was arrested at the scene but has since been released and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
This morning, officials seized a 40-foot container arriving from Singapore which it was claimed contained instant noodles.
The counterfeit cigarettes have an estimated retail value of €3.6m.
