Sweden-based company Polygiene buys British Addmaster Holdings Limited, making it a comprehensive supplier of antimicrobial solutions for both soft and hard surfaces. On one of the last days of the year, an extraordinary general meeting voted in favor of Polygiene’s acquisition of Addmaster Holdings Limited at a purchase price of SEK 374 million.
Starting in October 2020, Polygiene® will treat Marks & Spencer’s kitchen towels. The towel is treated with Polygiene stays fresh antimicrobial technology and is part of M&S globally distributed core programs. The yearly forecasted order value of the kitchen towels is USD 75 000.
As new consumer trends on fabric protection emerge, DIESEL is proud to announce the introduction of an ultra-innovative denim treatment that physically halts 99% of any viral activity. Developed in partnership with Swedish firm Polygiene, the innovative ViralOff® application - of which DIESEL retains a 100% exclusive on denim - will be implemented across a selection of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2021 denim styles, aiming at a greater range of products moving forward.
Diesel Sports is working with Polygiene from SS21 with Stays Fresh for the majority of their collection, and for some products also with ViralOff. Diesel Jeans have signed a contract with us to work on ViralOff in unique combination with Odor Crunch for SS21 exclusively in several collections. The initial cooperation is for a minimum of five collections.
