Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 helps maintain freshness between wash cycles across a wide range of everyday and performance textiles by absorbing odor molecules during use, supporting both longevity and wearer confidence. In addition, the technology is designed to perform reliably on challenging fabrics, including lightweight 100% polyester.

Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 does not contain any heavy metals and works by adapting proven capture mechanisms for effective odor control in textiles, capturing odor molecules, preventing them from being released during wear. 

How does Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 work?

Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 works by capturing and absorbing a high load of environmental odor-causing molecules within the textile structure, enabling extended wear between washes. By binding these molecules, the technology prevents the release of odors during wear, helping garments stay fresher for longer without impacting fabric comfort, appearance, or breathability. During laundering, the absorbed odors are released, refreshing the technology’s odor-capture capacity for continued performance.

Is Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 sustainable?

Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 is heavy-metal free and PFAS-free, and its biodegradability properties are currently under testing. By helping garments stay fresher for longer, it can support longer wear between washing, which may contribute to reduced water and energy use over a product’s lifetime.

How is Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 different from silver or antimicrobial technologies?

Antimicrobial technologies focus on reducing bacteria that can contribute to odor formation. Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 takes a different approach by targeting odor molecules directly. It captures odor molecules within the textile, which makes it particularly effective on fabrics like polyester where odor can persist even when bacterial levels are low.

Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 builds on the legacy of the original Polygiene OdorCrunch technology. The first generation used silica-based absorbent particles embedded in textiles to capture and break down odor molecules helping garments stay fresher for longer.

Now, Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 expands that foundation with enhanced performance, broader fabric compatibility, and improved durability. The capture-based technology delivers high-performance odor reduction across a wider range of textiles, including lightweight 100% polyester, blends, and natural fibers and integrates seamlessly into modern textile finishing processes.

Polygiene OdorCrunch2.0 is designed for modern textile manufacturing and can be easily integrated into existing finishing processes, including padding and exhaust application methods.
